hope and promise

Just a brief posting of an image I shared on social media and was asked to post a larger version.  This one shares the feeling of late autumn in a friend’s garden.  This is one of my favorite times of year to photograph, despite the 23F chilly mornings and frozen fingers because this time of year helps me see the many transitions we all go through as a natural cycle of life.  It helps remind me that there is beauty in decay, giving back to the earth, hope, promise and potential in transitions.
